  Latest update on Google Play Android TV is terrible. The update on Sony Android TV makes me wish I had not bought an Android TV based TV. Main screen is confusing, apps icons are very small, which makes it very difficult to navigate, especially for older people. Adds for movies above apps icons are misleading, easy to click on them by mistake. The staff picks addition is not useful at all, takes up a large amount of screen. We own large screen TV and yet I can’t view apps easily since latest update made huge TV screen useless with very small apps icons. I hope it will be fixed soon.

  I just spent $1,200 on a TV specifically because I liked the UI and it didn't show me ads I don't want to see. The latest Android TV update changes everything for the worse by adding "highlights", which are giant ads for horrible things I have no interest in, front and center at the top of my TV home screen. Let us turn these ads off, PLEASE.

  I bought a new hisense tv 6 months ago **because it had no ads**. I even pay for youtube premium **to get no ads**. Then, GREEDY SCROOOGLE PUTS ADS ON MY TV!!! Take the DAMN ADS OFF!

  As others have said, there are now ads (hints,) on the homescreen. I hope that all the complaints will cause a rethinking of this idea or a way for those of us who do not want the hints to get rid of them or move them to the bottom of the list.

  Added garbage “staff pick” ads which take up the full screen when you move over them (move not select). I didn’t ask for ads on my $1400 TV and there’s no way to disable them. They need to be removed.
