Rent Rahisi is a property and garbage management system for agents, landlords and owners of garbage collection companies in Kenya. If one activates collection by MPESA, rent is automatically collected and accounting done by the system. MPESA collection encourages tenants to pay on time since they do not have to go to the bank. Collection can be by MPESA, bank or cash. You can generate invoices for hundreds of tenants in seconds.
One can see from a dashboard how much has been collected and how much is pending. Late fees can also been automatically charged on a specific date, which encourages tenants to pay on time. Invoices and receipts are sent to tenants by SMS and email eliminating the cost of producing and distributing paper invoices and receipts.Money collected via MPESA goes to the property manager's paybill and is thus secure. The system can also be used by garbage collection companies to help them manage their customers and collect garbage fees via MPESA.
