Description of Widget for Nest Thermostat

The home screen Temperature Widget will display the current temperature, target temperature and away status of your Nest thermostat.
This only currently works with 1 Nest thermostat.
It also only displays the temperature your Nest provides, and doesn't yet allow the update of temperatures and settings.
Tapping the widget will open the Nest Official App.
Over the coming weeks depending on request more functionality will be added, hence the current low price.
Please contact me with any requests you have, as I don't want to replicate the Nest official app as it works fine, but the lack of Nest Home screen widgets is the reason I built this.

What's New with Widget for Nest Thermostat 1.3

Updated to open new nest app if installed.
If the old Nest is installed it will open that instead.

  Could not get the thing to work right, when selected black screen appears with nothing on it and stays till use back button. Can't set temperature unit, do not want celcius. Also even in celcius current temperature reading was not accurate as in nest app, status on the bottom was showing target temp, same as on top.

  The widget's advisory does declare it was developed for an older version of Android, so it's unclear if the widget is working as it should. I would have expected the widget to display active information feedback from the Nest, but it doesn't appear to do that, perhaps because it's been developed for an older version of Android. I've uninstalled it because it does no more than the Nest app icon.
