Description of DogTracks

DogTracks makes it easier and more fun to track with your dogs!
DogTracks helps you to lay and follow up your tracks and markers.
With DogTracks you first walk the track and lay the markers. When the track is finished you will see a map of the track with the markers. A summary will show the length of the track, number of markers and the time it took for you to walk the track.
When your dog walks the track DogTracks will draw a new track on the map and automatically mark the markers your dog finds. You will see the track you walked and in real time follow your dog's track.
After you and your dog have walked the track you will see a map that shows both tracks, which marker your dog has found, track length and time. You can log weather and wind conditions and also write your own comments.
DogTracks requires that Location service, GPS and Mobile Data is enabled on your phone.

  Not as accurate as I hoped for. If I stand still, it zigzag all over the place for about 20 yards. Plus I thought that this ap had a place to note wind and temperature. I haven't found that yet. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Millions of companies, craftsmen and independent professionals around the globe thrive just fine by selling their products, and they have to maintain, develop and improve them, too. There is no reason why consumers should be expected to pay programmers a salary just because it is on a digital platform. Instead of milking the same customers forever, build software that sells. Uninstalled.

  I used a Garmin GPS for years of tracking and tested several dog tracking apps. I have settled on DogTracks as my favorite, especially for laying a track. It tracks total track length and individual leg lengths (if I mark the corners.) Beginning students find the app easy to use and useful. DogTracks continues running when I use camera and compass apps. All my tools are at my fingertips. I just downloaded version 3.0 and look forward to seeing its improvements.

  The app since upgrade keeps shutting down when I try to record a track! Can you fix. I'm using Android.
