Technical Details
LeadMeNot uses Android's Accessibility services for three reasons:
1. To record and share text of your online activity (you can exclude tracking for specific apps and websites too) with your accountability partner(s)
2. To track, and to send you push notifications, for apps and websites you've specifically identified as triggers
3. To prevent the app or its permissions from being bypassed without informing your accountability partner(s)
We need the Accessibility service turned on, in order to for LeadMeNot to deliver its full value.
Habit Tracking: Now you can track habit-based goals in LeadMeNot! Habit tracking is a way to log all of the times when you behave in a desired way — when you make the right choice, such as eating healthily, writing in your journal, or reading a book. Tracking habits increase the likelihood that habits will become established, making it easier for us to repeatedly make the right choices!
