Description of Parking Plugin — OsmAnd

OsmAnd Parking Plugin is a reminder for your parking position.
This is an additive plugin to the navigation app OsmAnd.
The plugin offers two functions:
- time independent reminder (only a marker on the map).
- time limited reminder with alarm upon time expiration (includes also a marker on the map).
To place a Parking reminder on the map:
1.Tap and hold on the map until a text bubble pops up.
2.Tap on the text bubble and choose Parking reminder from the menu.
3.Set the type of reminder you wish.
Activating/Deactivating OsmAnd Parking Plugin,can be done in Osmand>Settings>Plugin Manager.

  This plugin is quite useful, and simple to use. However, it would become much more useful with two additions: 1. A control that puts the parking mark at the current position with one tap. 2. A widget that opens Osmand and does #1. The current way to do it is first to open Osmand if it is not already open (and wait for it to load); then zoom in to a zoom level that allows exact manual marking on the map.; mark the parking spot; zoom out to a reasonable zoom level for pedestrian navigation.

  I'm a big fan of Osmand+, and I've only down-rated this plug-in because I think it can be a lot better. It would be hugely improved by a simple shortcut to add the current location as the parking spot. A nougat-style shortcut would integrate with other apps (i.e. Nova/Sesame), and give users the kind of one-touch convenience that would make this feature so much more practical. Also, I currently have a gui error, with the "set parking time limit" window cutting off everything except the very top sliver of the check mark, and not allowing scrolling, so that everything is added to the calendar.

  I have been using this app almost 2 years and it's OK. But, the newest updates of plugin have icon in my phone screen. I don't like It. I hope only the main app has icon and not its plugins.
