Motion Mine was developed to give its users the ability to have fun with their devices in a different way. It was a personal project of mine to gain programming experience. This is the first app I have submitted to the store.
The app takes advantage of the on-board accelerometer to sense motion. If the device has been armed, when is senses that it has been picked up, an explosion noise will play. The phone will also vibrate and the flash will go off.
You are given a few seconds to turn off the screen and place the phone before the mine becomes active. Make sure you hurry though, you wouldn't want it going off in your hand!
You can also use this app to make sure your phone isn't stolen from you. If you want to leave it somewhere, you don't have to worry about it. Just arm the mine, and you will be alerted to its theft by the explosion.
