The proverbs and sayings, which are common in 3 languages (English, French and Turkish), are sometimes used in different ways and sometimes in the same way. The people of these three societies have expressed themselves more or less similar in similar ways. These expressions may come to exist solitary or they were moved to other languages through transitions between cultures.
In order to show this linguistically interesting situation, we wanted to share with a study prepared from the proverbs that we think are used most intensely in daily life.
