An enhanced digital tachograph designed for HGV and coach drivers TachoGuard keeps you safely within EU & AETR rules on drivers’ hours by monitoring all driving, working, periods of availability (POA), and resting activities.
It uses the new EU legislation on "Minute Rules" to ensure that activity time is allocated correctly.
Comprehensive and easy to use, it keeps track of split rests, extended days, reduced daily rests, reduced weekly rests, and automatically calculates any compensation owed.

  It's not a fun app to use. I found it drained my battery life too much on my phone, and didn't like working along side my sat navigation. You can't change the info added onto it either, ie you can't select the time you started your break, meaning if you bolt to the toilet and try and add the correct starting time, you can't, so you don't get the correct info.

  Becoming frustrated with this app now, you change from rest to work then continue only to come back later to find you are still on rest.

  Ok my initial review was wrong, it does work but a pictorial guide may help! Xxx doesn't give you any idea tge tracking is working?

  I bought this app a while back, never used it effectively in my job as a class2 driver because I got confused with the locking the mode vs in motion and then it got screwed, so I disregarded the app. It looks very good but a bit cumbersome to control.

  Thanks for sorting up the app with background working. Is any chance to add an option for mobility work( to take 2 reduced weekly rest in a row )?
