Tomorrow X Together (Hangul: ; Tomorrow By Together, also written in all caps), commonly known as TXT (/ˈtiː-ˈɛks-ˈtiː/ tee-eks-tee/ tu-ba-tu), is a vocal group a man from South Korea formed by Big Hit Music. The group consists of five members: SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI.[2]
They debuted on March 4, 2019 with the mini album The Dream Chapter: Star. The album debuted and peaked at number one on the Gaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums Chart and entered the United States Billboard 200 at number 140, at the time being the highest-ranking debut album by a male K-pop group on the charts. The lead single "Crown" debuted at the top of World Digital Songs as TXT debuted at the top spot of Billboard Emerging Artists, making them the fastest K-pop group to appear on World Digital Songs and the second fastest K-pop group to appear on Billboard Emerging Artist. .Twice made their debut in Japan on June 28, 2017 under the label Warner Music Japan, with the release of their compilation album titled #Twice. The compilation album occupies the second position on the Oricon Albums Chart with the best first week sales of any K-pop artist promoting in Japan over the past two years. This achievement was followed by the release of Twice's first original Japanese maxi single, entitled "One More Time" in October. Twice became the first Korean female idol group to be certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) in the album and single CD categories in the same year. Twice took third place in the Best Artist category in Billboard Japan's year-end rankings for 2017. They have been dubbed the next "Nation's Girl Group", and the key moves to their choreography—especially the songs "Cheer Up", "TT" and "Signal"—became viral memes whose moves were widely imitated by celebrities.
