  To questions on why phone permission is needed: its because on most devices right now the phone app is responsible for carrying out things that can "change system settings" they go hand-in-hand. Not a big deal, trust me the phone is not working in kahoots with other apps to smuggle secret info about you. They don't have any more info than what was publicly available this whole time. Contacts permission is for "Share" feature, so you can send a download link to your friends.yuh paranoid weirdos.
