Description of Formula Solver

A simple app which allows you to save equations for later use.
Enter the equation using variables then you can go back at any time and enter the values and solve for the solution.
Great for contractors doing bids. It works like a multifunction calculator where you pre enter the formula. You can use add, subtract, multiply, divide, power, root, and factorial functions. You can use custom labels and long variable names for each formula.

What's New with Formula Solver Sleepy Slug

Fixed order of operations bug.
Will now solve equation according to order of operation instead of just parenthesis. Inputs no longer reset when device reorientates. If a variable shows up multiple times in the formula, its value only needs to be entered once. Beta version offers limited trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, cot), assumes values are in degrees.

This is not a solver but only a calculator for an entered formula. From a solver I expect that I can input any of the variables in the equation and it will solve automatically for the variable left blank. It needs to allow for multiple equations with independent variables. So it has one advantage.... Variable names can be complete words, not single letters only.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for. It replaces the functionality of my HP 19Bii calculator SOLVE feature. It allows me to create any equation using my own named variables. Then it will solve for any of the variables as long as I supply all but one. It also allows me to save, export, import, my formulas. I am an engineer and this is fantastic. Feature Request: -Allow the use of numbers in a variable name, ex. Height1, Height2 -Allow for use of period symbol "." in a variable name, ex. Color.1, Color.2

I am a pediatrician and use this app to quickly calculate the "custom" mixing of infant formulas for babies who need formula of increased caloric density. Easy to use. I was able to configure formulas immediately without consulting any help files. Nice job.
