This is a super simple app to pair Wii remotes with Android devices. It searches for Bluetooth devices, identifies Wii remotes, and computes the correct pairing PIN so that the remote can be paired with your Android device. It also has experimental support for Wii U Pro Controllers and other Nintendo controllers that pair similarly.
DISCLAIMER: Wii remotes do not work with some or all of the devices produced by certain manufacturers. That is not a fault of this app, instead it is an issue with the Bluetooth stack on those devices. The Wiimote will pair correctly, but will then just flash indefinitely when trying to actually connect. These include:
• Samsung (seems to affect all Samsung devices)
• Xiaomi
• Nvidia
• Sony
• OnePlus
Location permission is requested because Android requires it to scan for Bluetooth devices.
