Metal Detector works from the magnetic field sensors in your
phone. It uses the z axis detector so that the readings come from the back of the phone. It sounds a beep with the frequency of the beep getting faster as metal is close to the sensor.
The volume of the beep may be controlled with the systems setting alarms volume. Metal Detector supports the United States English, the United States Spanish, the German, and the Slovak Locales. Metal Detector also has a visual scan bar that shows the readings in micro Tesla s (uT).
