  Overall the app is good, however the ui is a bit confusing and there are no furigana which is really bad if you don't know the Kanji but don't want to use romanji to read the words.

  I saw a rating by another person that said the further down the tutorials you go the lessons show a black screen with no writing. The dev's reply back in 2017 was to update. I thought "ok, I must be downloading the updated version since its 2020 and everything should be fine by now". NOPE!!! All lessons towards the bottom of the list are all blank. Ive requested a refund and ha e deleted the app. DO NOT DOWLOAD. They haven't fixed the app and its not worth the $4.

  I payed for this thing.. awesome! But just going through the quick drop down of potential phrases o found that if the list was short it was fine, but halfway down the longer lists when you would select something nothing would populate.... Unfortunate. I probably won't usethis. Edit in response to developer: what I meant was that there are many phrases available that would be useful, but when selecting the phrase to see the Japanese it just loads a black screen with no Japanese or anything on it. It does this on any list that is pretty long. It starts by losing the buttons then further down the list you go less shows until when you go into a phrase there is no information where there should be.
