PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. The goal is to emulate PS2 hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers, and Virtual Machines that manage the state of the PS2's hardware and system memory.
PCSX2 is a full-throttle desktop emulator for the Sony PlayStation 2. It puts any PlayStation 2 game on your PC with the added attraction of setting up any graphical configuration to your liking -- often far beyond the original visuals.
PCSX2 lets you play PS2 games on your PC, with lots of added features and benefits. Some of these benefits include:
