“A penny saved is a penny earned” - if you believe in this idiom then "Penny Wise” is the right app for you. Penny Wise - is an expense tracking tool with a very intuitive user interface elements. Manage your expenses on your smartphone or tablet and track your finances. Assign category to your expense for detailed statistical distribution and other useful insights. Have a tab on how and where your money is spent to figure out how much could have been saved. Set a monthly budget to re-evaluate and track all your expenditure and work strictly towards fitting all expenses within this budget. Get alerts as and when your are nearing monthly budget or if you have exceeded.

- Main dashboard (Home screen) to see a snapshot of all expenses for the current month with daily average, weekly & monthly expenses, and maximum and minimum expenses for the current month.
- Create & Email reports in 3 different formats - CSV, HTML and Plain Text. Reports can be saved to SD card and sent as email attachments.
- Currencies of upto 151 countries supported.
- Configure recurring expenses to add them automatically.
- History - see history of all the expenses logged previously.
- Statistics - analyse, compare and view expenses of all previous months. Get a feel of actual money outflow.
- Search - search all your expenses in one view using keywords like category name, amount, date etc.
- Backup and restore options to the device locally. No server backup at present supported.
- Set monthly budget and manage your expenses within this budget. See alerts when monthly expenses are nearing the budget or when it overshoots.
- Customise expense categories and set colour tags for quick and easy identification.
- View current month expenses in one view. See the topmost expense categories sorted in descending order.
- Enter any expense using a simple and convenient amount calculator.
- Expense Charts/Statistics - view distribution, compare monthly expenses by categories, amount etc.
- Supports English & German languages only. Will be supporting more languages in the future releases.

Penny Wise does not read or change or backup any of your personal information from SMS or Contacts or Emails. We respect your privacy the most. Only few permissions are required for this App to work at it's best.
- Network communication used to send very minimal app analytics - no personal information will be collected.
- Storage to create periodic back up.
- Boot completed - to trigger periodic back up and execute recurring expense cycles.
