Fi randomly switches towers for no discernable reason, this lets me pick the best signal for my current location and stay connected without switching randomly. It should be built into fi, but it isn't so I'm glad someone has a solution.

I just wanted to see the 3G 4G LTE band (frequency) my operator is using, but it doesn't show.

I am a T mobile customer and I was interested in seeing the cellular bands that this network is using since they are the only ones using the new 12 and 71 bands. So I downloaded it and I was happy to see that I am on the new 12 band extended distance (700mhz) band. Then your app next showed that my phone had switched to the 4? band. What is a 4? Band....What does the ? mean after the band 4? I also think that your app is not upgraded to the 71 band. Please update I would like to try again.

I read in some place that it shows the active cellular radio band (800mhz.. 850mhz etc.) but it does not do that.... only shows the same info that you have in "About Phone" > "Status"... and less info that dialing *#*#4636#*#* .. so useless....... Ohhhh.. but the worst is "update to PRO"......" Buy PRO "......" you know about PRO "...... is every where!!!!

I am not able to change my network operator to sim 1. It is tracking my sim 2 network only. Also, I am not a google fi user.

Essential in using and troubleshooting Google Fi. Bought the Pro version even though I don't intend to use the pro features. Don't like giving accessibility access but found the usability worth paying for.
