Writing paper on your Android device! TeX Writer lets you write, compile and pre­view TeX documents right on your tablet or smartphone, and no internet connection is re­quired. Editing TeX is now super easy with the assistant keybar. Comparing to other text editors, it saves you a lot of time in typing LaTeX commands.

  It downloads packages as needed, and compiles (quite fast) offline just like it says on the box. There's even some nice quality of life features: (1) When you recompile it stays on the same page, so that you don't have to scroll back down. (2) The console output is available after you compile but doesn't display automatically, so it doesn't waste time printing it to the screen. The app has some very minor problems with tikzcd; it still works on the whole, but you need to fiddle with it a bit.

  No other app was able to compile my source, this one did instantly without effort! Editing larger files is cumbersome. You may prefer another editor.
