Description of ION Block Rocker

The ION Block Rocker app enhances your listening experience by providing EQ tone controls for your music, as well as a collection of sound effects that will add excitement to your BBQ, pre-game party, or gathering.
The EQ screen offers an 8-band EQ, which can be customized in real-time as your music is playing through the built-in media player. Also, there are 21 EQ presets to choose from, including Acoustic, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, and more.
The Sound FX page offers 24 different sound effects such as Applause, Siren, Crickets, Crowd Cheering, Drum Roll, and more! These can be triggered at any time and will mix in with your music, or you can just play them on their own.

  This is an outdated app & the small offering of sound effects are 'a little on the cheesy side', for sure. However, the 'crown jewel' of this app is its quite capable equalizer. Sure, it is only a 5 channel EQ, but I'm kinda wowed at how much better music sounds from my old Tailgater (model IPA-77), when I use the EQ. BUT, the one 'kinda big' drawback is that the EQ (AFAIK), ONLY WORKS WHEN PLAYING MUSIC/MEDIA THAT IS STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE (aka no support for Pandora, YT, etc).
