Herobrine is the undead brother of MCPE main character. A character that is hidden in the original game and whose main difference with the main character is that his eyes are completely white.
But this story is one of the many stories of Herobrine. No one has proven it true, like other stories.
There is no reference to it in the source code, and there is no code that allows any entity to act as Herobrine.
There is no ground-level code to generate 2×2 tunnels or elaborate dungeons with traps.
There is no possible way that Herobrine can exist on any unmodified client or server.

Herobrine, Skeleton and Zombie Pigman are near-certainly inspired by slender, who is also the inspiration behind Enderman.
