Distance Calculator keeps track of location, distance, speed and time when you are working out or just driving for leisure. It graphically represents your location on a map and shows the speed variation.
The app allows you to see the total distance covered, at what speed (average, minimum and maximum) and the time taken to travel the distance. It lets you pause the ongoing session so that you can capture the metrics accurately.
The sharing feature lets you share the captured metrics with your friends and family. The capture feature saves the captured metrics on your phone for future reference.

  This app is easy to use, and provides and effective way to log my walking activities especially. It's also effective to use when driving new auto routes, for me to see how a new route compares to my previous route choices. Lastly, this app is not connected to a collective so it does not mix my results into a group think blob.

  Does what it is supposed to. The added map of one's location which comes with the paid version is a nice touch. Useful and worth $2.
