The sounds of our sun and planets in our solar system are fascinating. This app will let you listen to each of them, for 15, 30, or 60 minutes. The sounds they make can be very soothing, and sometimes spooky. They make a great background noise for meditation or falling asleep to, especially when put through headphones or a decent speaker.
They are also interesting to simply listen to - they are the result of a NASA satellite called Voyager recording the electromagnetic vibrations and frequencies as it flew by each planet. These frequencies were then translated to be in the range of human hearing, and the result is quite fascinating. Earth has a very sonorous, soothing sound, while Neptune can be quite jarring. They each have a very unique and entrancing sound.
