works with magnetic sensor of the android phone for detecting magnetic field around you. It needs a magnetic sensor. it doesn't work on those phones which have no magnetic sensor or magnetometer. Magnetic field strength is measured in μT (micro tesla). Natural EMF level is about 49μT(micro tesla) or 490mG(milli gauss). 1μT = 10mG. The μT(micro tesla) value increases after finding metal activity around you.

EMF is measured in milliGauss (mG) or μT(micro tesla) . The Environmental Protection Agency offers limit exposure from 0.5 mG to 2.5 mG. Just at the distance of three feet from a microwave, you are exposed up to 25 mG or so EMF can be dangerous to your health and it may lead to many diseases like mental disorders. As EMF is a non ionizing part of the electro spectrum. Emfs can lead to cancer by reducing the level of hormone melatonin.
