Description of Ballistic X

Ballistic-X is the easiest way to calculate shot groups and to zero a rifle! Designed by shooters, the simple and intuitive interface allows user to setup their own preferences via our Options Menu. Options includes MOA/MIL, INCH/CM, and will work with any target, including Steel.
BX also offers useful data and labeling options that aid in Load Development.
Our ATZ (Adjustment To Zero) feature tells shooter precisely how to adjust turrets to bring rifle to Zero, allowing a perfect zero with fewer rounds shot. ATZ works dynamically at any range and is compatible with all turret options!
Workflow is simple:
- Take image of Target (within App or from Library)
- Designate reference size via Settings (default is 1”)
- Mark the two points on target which coincide with reference (grid target or steel target). The distance between the two points is reference size.
- Input distance from Target
- Select the Caliber used
- Mark Point Of Aim and Impacts
- Add Overlay, Label, Crop, and Export / Share
- Adjust Optic according to ATZ

  I like it but the label for your image is way too small to read, even on the large setting. Useful for MOA calculations but saving the images is a pain and it's almost easier to just write it on your paper and take another picture. Sometimes it will hang on finalizing an image too and I have no idea why.

  Future features (specifically mean radius) were promised to be added soon, so I purchased the app. When this feature finally came it was hidden behind an annual subscription paywall. Very unhappy with this - I'm not interested in other advanced advanced features, purely bought this for the mean radius feature, now won't get it

  It's pretty good, but two additional features would make it great. First, data export. After going through all the trouble to mark impacts, it would be great if I could use the data outside the app. 2nd, some way to combine multiple shot groups because small groups are not statistically significant and large shot groups (30 or more) are undecipherable on paper.

  Works well for the most part, but app has to be restarted for each new entry or it fails to complete information input. Even an accidental touch to the screen can cause the app to show the "loading" circular moving arrow in lower right corner as if loading and never completes. When this happens, you need to back all the way out of the app and start it again. This is on my Samsung A54 with all the latest updates.
