Akuafo Integrated System Kooko Kuani App is an initiative by the High Seas International Consultancy Limited, designed and built by Alster Limited. The mobile app is designed to support cocoa farmers to interact directly with produce buying companies while monitoring their produce sales and progress over each cocoa season.
Farmers can receive instant notifications from produce buying companies and other stake holders as well as request for support such as tools, equipment, mass spraying and pesticide supplies. Farmers may through the AIS Kuani App, request for cocoa extension officers as well as report emergency issues. The App provides avenues for farmers to access financial support facilities and repayment of such loans.
In conclusion, the AIS Kuani App seeks to move farms into the 21st century farming state through mobile technology technology.
