-Calibrate your phone sensor
To use the metal finder app, first calibrate, to calibrate your phone move it far away from any magnetic interference like electronic devices, metal objects and hidden objects, than wave you phone in a figure of eight rotating pattern in different directions. So the device magnetic sensor will be reset and you are good to go.
