Description of First Off The Tube - Your Tube Doors Assistant

First Off The Tube helps you board the Tube, Overground, and the DLR in order to be closest to your exits and interchanges at the chosen station. It incorporates a detailed database of each and every exit and interchange found on the Tube system and works perfectly well while you're underground as it needs no internet connection or GPS information. You can search by line, or just by the station name to find the station you're looking for.
The app also provides information on the closest stations to a number of London's tourist attractions.
PERMISSIONS: needs access to the files ("media") -- the actual data is stored in SQLite db files inside the app which need accessing, otherwise it won't work.
KNOWN ISSUES:
None at the moment.
ps.: if you have queries as to how to use the app or comments, do drop me an email, especially before leaving negative feedback. Thank you.

What's New with First Off The Tube - Your Tube Doors Assistant 1.33

v1.33: Updates to the (rather pointless) file handling changes forced by Android 11. Unfortunately this may mean a loss of favourites upon the first launch. Should be okay afterwards.

It looks good and give exactly what I want by line - however no non-TfL National Rail (e.g. SWR and Thameslink).

Thanks for updating this. I'll give you five stars because so far as know this is the only dedicated app for London tube platform exits. But for a 'true' five star rating, I really wish you'd develop a planner. Enter start and end stations, and get a route listing with platform exits. Even a simple one would do. But thanks anyway.

Doors option is great to get upstairs. Information on which exit of the station to get to a certain post ode/address would be brilliant (many different options at central stations)

Update: author confirmed to count carts from the front of the train which I assumed. I was confused because it didn't work out at some occasions. A critical feature I am missing in is a way to report incorrect or missing data sets directly from within the app. I also still think the app UI is clumsy, especially station view which is essentially just a list. A more intuitive view would be view a visual of the platform layout.

Great idea. Unfortunately, the UI isn't intuitive and unattractive. E.g. there is no instruction how to read the car numbers. Until this day it is not clear to me if I should start counting in the beginning or the end of the train. It would be great to add a visualisation to make it more intuitive
