X-Pose

Description of X-Pose

This app is a trial simulated learning tool developed for use by students in the Medical Imaging course at Curtin University. It provides a simulation of an x-ray imaging system console and allows students to adjust various exposure factors such as kVp and mAs for various body regions and projections. A simulated x-ray exposure can then be made and the resulting image and patient dose information is displayed.
The aim of this app is to help students gain a better understanding of how x-ray exposure factors contribute to both image quality and patient dose.
Use of this app requires an activation code, provided to students at Curtin University.
