  I also upgraded phones and am disappointed to find out the app does not work well on the new device. My problem is that the app does not last my phone for the push notifications. I can use the app to still turn my alarm on and off, but that's about it.

  Total incompetent....they need to get better trained on the how to troubleshoot when app doesn't sync with phone 😤 😒 😑

  The app is not compatible with newer phones. I contacted Vivint and have been troubleshooting for 5 days since getting a replacement phone of the same kind with the same service provider (Verizon). Even if I use the browser on my PC, I am unable to control anything (a/c temp, alarm arm and unarm, or my locks). I am going to request a free upgrade due to this! This is crazy!

  Notification reset on panel only. I'd like to be able to see and turn off notifications in app. The panel won't stop beeping unless you reset it on the panel. As a mom of two small children it's difficult to get to sometimes and the beeping wakes people up.

  I got a new smartphone and suddenly the app wasn't working. I got the run around until someone finally admitted that android v.10 is too advanced for the existing app and they will not be updating it. So if you're waiting for that, stop waiting. It isn't going to happen. Disappointing after paying all this money for all these years only to find they don't care.

  Vivint Classic don't work on Android phone had a technician update my panel with a new chip. He said in order to get Vivid classic to work you have to update your panel and that would mean you will be locked into another contract which I'm not trying to do Vivint sucks. I'm having my service discontinued
