  The Steam Chat should be able to have all the same features as in dekstop Steam app chat as well. Therefore what I found missing is only we can't Add Nickname in the chat directly, but in here we must go through the friend's profile which is complicated. That's what I found so far.. Hope this feedback helps you to improve this app. Thank you!!

  Had it on my old phone and it sucked. Buggy as heck, auto-copied the last word of my last message into my new message. The only features it had as opposed to the base app (pictures, emotes etc.) did not work properly most of the time. Now I installed it on my new phone and it crashes on launch. Maybe that's for the better. I'll stick to the base app.

  Loads slow, doesn't run in background to give notifications, sometimes doesn't load all current messages since opened last. In short, it's pretty bad at being a chat app compared to SMS. Not useless, but still awful. Would not recommend.

  It's a good app, I really like it, it just has an annoying glitch that has no way to fix it besides reinstalling the damm thing,

  Slow, clunky, constantly resending links to people I sent hours ago when I open the app (which I have to do often to refresh the chat so I can see the new messages I got a notifications for but arent there.) It has all the features I wanted added to the Steam app but it just feels so bad to use.

  Every update makes it better. Everything is smooth and easy to use. Edit: chat messages don't come through unless you have the app opened in the background. Fix that and make it boot faster, and I'm happy.
