Description of Screen Off (no ROOT)

This simple and lightweight application just turn screen off (lock).
Let you hardware Power button rest for a while.

Application will ask you to activate Administrator (Settings -> Security and screen lock -> Administrator) before use.
To uninstall app you will need to deactivate Administrator first.

App may work as normal and by widget.

App may work not correctly on some devices or screen may blink after turning off, in particular if PIN or Keylock is set. Then try another application with the same functionality.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission to be able to switch off display.

  After 6.0.1 update it appears there are some issues due to Android security policy. If I use this app to lock the phone , when unlocking I need to put both the fingerprint and the pattern. Message is "Enter pattern instead of using fingerprint because of security policy." If I lock using the power button, fingerprint is all it needs. I have used some similar apps and all act the same.

  It worked fine for a couple days. Now when I click on the lock screen widget, it brings up the admin panel to activate/deactivate. And now have to click on the lock from there?!?
