Preparing for the SAT® could be a difficult job, especially when it comes to learning vocabulary. The last thing you would want to do is use some clunky app or pick up an expensive book and waste time learning many useless words.
At Fortitude, we have worked with many expert teachers to curate only the essential words that you are likely to need for the SAT® reading/writing & language tests instead of adding thousands of words.
To save you time from learning thousands of unnecessary words, we have worked with expert teachers to curate only the essential words that you are likely to need for the SAT®
reading/writing & language test.
From years of expertise in teaching vocabulary, we have learned many valuable lessons from our students. We have realized, sometimes it's painful to learn even the smallest amount of words when it's hard to grasp the definitions. If it's hard to understand what a word means, it could be harder to memorize it in the long term.
To make words easy to understand, we have employed two strategies which we've found quite compelling.
A long, detailed definition makes it easy to understand a word that you're encountering for the first time.
A short, simple definition that could be easy to remember in the long term.
Thanks for checking us out. We wish you the best for the SAT®.

Awesome but plzzz add some more words like copious , verisimilitude etc. Bcz I'm from India and I'm preparing for Civil Services examinations , and the level of vocab in those exams is up to the mark. Overall very nice app.

Love the range of words and the examples provided. However I'd like there to be more variety in testing and review. The multiple choice questions are too similar and repetitive. Sure it gets the job done memorizing words but it doesn't help in learning how to effectively use them. The app would be better with more ways of reviewing terms (fill in, different answer choices, synonyms, etc) but still decent overall.

Some of the pictures are unhelpful or even misleading. A pic of scoring cards at an athletic event is NOT appropriate for the word adjudicate.
