Description of Sand Timer

Hourglass timer with great graphics, no ads & no permissions.
Great for board games, as a kitchen timer, or for telling the kids how long until bedtime.
Operate up to 8 sand timers simultaneously (each one is colored differently and selected at left of screen).
Accelerometer used - turning upside down will reverse the time and reset the timer (option to turn this off).
Set the countdown time anywhere from 1 second up to 83 days. Change timer names. Changes will be stored for next time app is run.
Notifications will be shown if the timer finishes when the app is not open.

  Timer can be more realistic with sand. Excellent app to maintain a habit for long periods of time, watching the sand fill up gives a constant motivation.

  The look is appealing, the interface easy to use. However the sounds available are all quite similar to each other: sharp and metallic. I would have loved to use it for meditation, but I found it unpleasant ending the session with a ra-ta-ta-ta or pling-pling-pling-pling, lasting at least 5 seconds. Why not giving the option of playing the sound "just once", plus adding a soft, deep sound, like a hummm, or a gong?
