  In my opinion, this is the best app for learning the Russian alphabet. All the letters are on a single page which is great, the no scrolling interface is a breath of fresh air. Upon selecting a letter; the pronunciation sounds off, a visual display to indicate if it's a vowel / consonant / etc , and finally wrapping it up with both a visual and audible word example. The UI is simple yet effective and perfect for the purpose of the application itself -- I cannot think of a way to make it better.
