Description of Poll Manager

Poll Manager is a comprehensive communication system developed for the Local Body Elections 2020 for the exclusive use of Election Officials of Kerala.
The application is used by the officials authorised by the State Election Commission, Kerala. The mobile application developed by National Informatics Centre is intended to facilitate officers at higher level to have an overall status of all officers working under them and to ensure effective communication, Poll Day status monitoring.

  IT IS WORTH OF NOTHIG. Extremely heavy to load. Impractical to use in a country like India as the Internet service here has very poor coverage even in some locations of crowded cities.

  At present the app is limited to submitting only hourly polling pattern. Even after submitting these data, it must again be recorded in pro s diary and elsewhere. Thus as such it is a wastage of human effort now. If it is integrated with form submission (other than statutory forms) it would have been wonderful. Then we need not write name of election, polling station number and name etc. in numerous places. Think of a situation where from the data, softcopies of 17c and other forms are generated automatically!!! Then only the app is useful, i think.
