** NOTICE: As of 2/15/2020, PRESTO has made changes to their system which makes it virtually impossible to add unregistered accounts from third-party applications (like ourselves). As a result, we will be temporarily dropping support for unregistered accounts from our application.

P Reader is an application that allows PRESTO card users to view their card summaries. With it, you can view the balance available on your PRESTO card, in addition to the recent card activity.
All this is presented in a simple, yet elegant manner.
Why does it occasionally take so long to update my card activity?
The card activity is fetched from the official PRESTO servers. Unfortunately, this means that we have no control over how fast the information is retrieved or how quickly the activity is updated after card usage.
We recommend contacting PRESTO directly if you have any complaints regarding reloads, card usage discrepancies, or any related issues.
Want the ability to get periodic notifications about your balance? Or how about warnings when your card is running low on funds?
We've got you covered! Simply enable the balance updates or warning feature in the app settings and you're good to go!
Want the ability to tap your PRESTO card against your device to launch the app?
We've got that too! Simply tap the card against your device and link it to any of the added accounts. After that, you'll be able to launch the app and switch to the account instantly - just by tapping the card.
Is this the official PRESTO app?
No. Unfortunately, this is not the official PRESTO application.
This app is our attempt at making the PRESTO service more accessible and easier to use.

  this app constantly has so many glitches. It's a good app, but it would be beneficial if the app made it a default setting to give the user notifications when their balance is low because reloading online takes up to 24hours. I like that the app allows you to see your transit history, but it is really inconvenient that the balance notifications don't work (at least for me). I've tried to figure it out several times, but it never notifies me. Lately, it's not letting me sign into my account!

  I wish the time could be updated immediately so that a person can know how much to rush in order to be within the two hour transfer time limit. Yesterday, I was 1 minute past the two hours, and therefore charged an extra fare. If I had known that, then I could've used the second fare charge to stop and shop for a few things and still get on. I basically got screwed and feel that I should get a refund. The time of entrance should be updated right away like a bank does. Hope this helps. Thanks.

  Comes handy when you need to check balance only. However, takes longer time to update or display the information. Cannot upload balance through the app. It's just better to visit the website on phone and check and upload the balance - quicker than this app.

  App crashed several times and I had to uninstall and then reinstall then clear the cache before it started to work again. It would be a great idea to be able to uodate the card balance using NFC.

  The app works well in providing the status in the morning the next day. But same limitation as on the web site. some times the information te usage is not up to date but it seems as though the total money on the card is correct. i do like being able to quickly check the current status in the morning so that i can add finds if necessary.
