Description of NFC Developer

Create and write NFC messages
using your mobile and computer together in an effective workflow.
Supports all kinds of NDEF Records and data types (NDEF is the the native NFC data format in Android):
- URI Records
- Text Records
- Mime Records
- External Type Records including Android Application Records
- Handover Records
- and more
Getting started:
From your computer, open the online NDEF editor at http://ndefeditor.grundid.de/ or get the Eclipse plugin at http://code.google.com/p/nfc-eclipse-plugin/ for a file-based editor.
Once your NFC message is composed, the editor automagically generates a binary QR code - scanned by this app. Then simply touch up an NFC tag to write - couldn't be more simple.
Additional features:
- Auto-detect and preview of various data types
- Load/save to file, email as attachment
- Writing tags as read-only
- Reading tags and beams
- NFC Intent broadcasts
- Pretty printing previews of XML and JSON
- Remembers tags. Simply swipe to traverse!
- Beam support
Also see https://code.google.com/p/ndef-tools-for-android/ for code examples and full demo apps.
Please note that the auto-detection of binary payload is no exact science. But if you are working with XML or JSON formats you'll love it! :-)
Non-NFC devices
These devices are supported through the use of broadcast intent (like the FakeTagsActivity Android example).

Please supplement any negative review of this app with a description of the problem(s),
if not improving the application is not possible.
┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛
Bonus: The Eclipse Plugin site also hosts a downloadable version of this app which accesses and renders contents in URI records (requires the internet permission).

This app was wonderful until I realized that it was destroying NFC tags in my pocket. Here is what was happening, I'd put the phone in my pocket or throw it into the console in the car, if it landed on my ChargePoint tags for accessing electric car charging stations, the app would open and immediately rewrite the tag with whatever I was working on, effectively destroying the ChargePoint tags. Once I figured out what was going on, I contacted the developer who basically told me to pound sand and that he was not interested in fixing it. I'm writing this to worn other users that this app will automatically and on its own destroy NFC tags your device comes near! I learned my expensive mistake. Update: I would have been reasonably happy if you had cared as much in your email responses to me. You basically said "An update will never happen, just uninstall it." No Sorry that it cost hours of inconvenience when you couldn't charge your car. Or when it subsequently overwrote tags in a restaurant table... It was a menace until I uninstalled it and you didn't care. And sure it was free, but I'd have gladly paid $10 for it until this issue came up. It's not my fault you give it away....

This app along with the Eclipse plugin is amazing. I could write a complete custom binary payload embedded into an NDEF record to my NFC tag, for a BLE pairing project.

OK it scans but you can't see the code at all. Keeps saying scan to read or tap to enter write mode. But unlike your screenshots on the play store you can't see any java code.. So how do you see the code like your screenshot?? It successfully scans a NFC but you can't edit anything unlike the screenshot implies.
