Tempo gives you the features you need without sacrificing usability. Its engine is written from the ground up for high accuracy and stability. Over that is wrapped an attractive and comprehensive single-screen interface. Flashing LEDs also serve as buttons to customize beats, enabling the creation of complex rhythms.

- 6 rhythm patterns for simple meters and 3 for compound meters

  Metronome works well but limited. The few meters is fine but can limit if you want to practice odd times. Click sounds are also limited; sometimes I find that accent counts begin to sound the same especially when playing in a triple feel time sig. So you wind up losing where the "1" is. Maybe I need more practice. Overall great and reliable app though!

  A no-frills, nicely built metronome app with presets support. I would give it five starts however there is a very annoying bug that makes presets go wild and happens very often in my workflow: start metro, block phone to turn screen off and forget. Unfortunately I am not able to sistematically reproduce this but happens after picking up then unblocking phone while the metronome is running. Focused preset name & BPM gets overwritten with another preset values, or the BPM changes to something else by itself. Also the preset rows need a larger height, they are difficult to tap.

  Frozen Ape is dead on social media. Emailed support over 2 months ago, no answer. I paid for the pro version and regret it. The iOS app is great, but the Android app is, sadly, hot garbage. The paid version lacks the features I paid to get and are different from the iOS version for some reason. Find another metronome setlist. I have an old iPhone I now use for this purpose.

  This app is excellent. Has lots of helpful features for practicing. The ability to add subdivisions, accent specific beats, and turn on/off every few measures is great for a practicing drummer.
