Mala barka 2 je nastavak koncepta projekta Mala barka. Novim projektom su nadograđena stečena znanja i iskustva, te je uspješnom provedbom proširen na cijelo obalno prekogranično područje Hrvatska - Slovenija.
U projektu Mala barka 2 sudjeluje osam partnera: Primorsko-goranska županija, TZ Kvarnera, Pomorski i povijesni muzej Hrvatskog primorja Rijeka, Udruga i Ekomuzej »Kuća o batani« (Rovinj), Općina Izola, TZ Izola, Općina Piran i Pomorski muzej- Museo del mare »Sergej Mašera« (Piran).
Ukupna vrijednost projekta je 2,16 milijuna eura, od čega 1,84 mil. eura bespovratnih sredstava, a sufinanciran je sredstvima EU fonda za regionalni razvoj iz Programa suradnje INTERREG V-A SLOVENIJA HRVATSKA 2014.-2020.
Jedan od rezultata projekta je izrada Smjernica razvoja održivog turizma pomorske baštine za destinaciju Mala barka koja obuhvaća područje Sjevernog Jadrana.
Napravljeno je jedinstveno označavanje 70 atrakcija pomorske baštine otkrivene na području Sjevernog Jadrana (50 na području Kvarnera i Rovinja + 20 u Izoli i Piranu) te obnovljeno 13 malih barki tradicionalne brodogradnje, od toga osam na području PGŽ-a. U sklopu projekta, uređena su i otvorena 3 interpretacijska centra, 2 info centra i održano 17 manifestacija posvećenih pomorskoj i ribarskoj baštini, kao što su regate tradicijskih barki (Kvarnerski festival mora i pomorske tradicije FIUMARE u Rijeci, Smotra i regata tradicijskih barki na jedra Mala barka Mošćenička Draga, Krčka jedra, Ribarski tjedan u Crikvenici, Lošinjskim jedrima oko svijeta, Rovinjska regata Mala barka, Ribiški praznik v Izoli, Pomorski krst v Piranu).
Glavni cilj je promocija projekta i razvoj kulturno- turističke destinacije.
Novouređen i otvoren je Interpretacijski centar pomorske baštine s u gradu Krku gdje je uz to obnovljena i jedna tradicijska barka - bragoc iz 1960. godine.
U slovenskom dijelu projekta, u Izoli, završena je obnova tradicijske pasare koja je postala dio Hiše morja (Kuće mora) Izolana, a u sklopu projekta Mala barka 2 uređena je i andragoško-pedagoška soba s ciljem privlačenja pažnje i interesa najmlađih. U ovoj sobi djeca mogu naučiti o flori i fauni Jadrana i loviti ribe kroz video igru „Lovimo sa Bepijem“. Posjetitelji također mogu gledati zanimljive video snimke s VR naočalama.
Uređen je i Interpretacijski centar u Izoli i obnovljen brod Biser.
Vrhunac ovog projekta, kojim je završen i zaokružen projekt Mala barka 2, je obnova logera u Nerezinama na Malom Lošinju, koji je dio postava Interpretacijskog centra Lošinjski loger u Malom Lošinju.
Mala barka 2. je puštena u svoj novi život, predlaže ideje za zajedničke turističke itinerare, predstavlja brojne turističke markacije, uvodi pomorsku baštinu u slovenski i hrvatski registar, a sve to upoznajte bolje u našem virtualnom muzeju (https://muzejmalabarka.com).
Small Boat 2 is a continuation of the concept of Small Boat Project. The new project has upgraded the acquired knowledge and experience and has been successfully expanded across the coastal cross-border area of ​​Croatia - Slovenia.
In the project Mala Barka 2 there are eight partners: Primorsko-goranska County, TZ Kvarner, Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, Association "The House of Batani" (Rovinj), Izola Municipality, TZ Izola, Piran Municipality and Maritime Museum - Museum of the sea »Sergej Mašera« (Piran).
The total value of the project is EUR 2.16 million, out of which EUR 1.84 million in grants and co-funded by the EU funds of regional development funds from INTERREG V-A cooperation program SLOVENIA CROATIA 2014-2020.
One of the results of the project is the development of the Guidelines for the Development of a Sustainable Maritime Heritage Tourism for the Small Boat Destination that covers the North Adriatic Sea.
Unique designation of 70 attractions of maritime heritage discovered in the North Adriatic area (50 in Kvarner and Rovinj + 20 in Izola and Piran) and 13 small boats of traditional shipbuilding, of which eight in the area of ​​PGŽ have been updated. The Interpretation Center of Maritime Heritage with the City of Krk has been renovated and opened, along with a traditional barge - bragoc from 1960.
In the Slovene part of the project, in Izola, the restoration of the traditional passport has been completed, which has become part of the House of the Sea, and within the Small Boat 2 project, an Andragogy-pedagogical room was designed to attract the attention and interest of the youngest. In this room children can learn about the flora and fauna of the Adriatic and fish in the video game "Lovimo with Bepijem". Visitors can also watch interesting video clips with VR glasses.
There is also an Interpretation Center in Izola and a renovated Biser boat.
The culmination of this project, which completed and completed the project Small Boat 2, is the reconstruction of loggers in Nerezine, Mali Lošinj, which is part of the Mali Lošinj Logistic Center's Interpretation Center.
