It has the potential to be a great app. But the sound doesn't work to hear the word pronounced and it seems like every other day-- there is no word of the day. Pros: there's a spanish translation; it uses example sentences for the chosen word in kanji and English or Spanish

My only issue is the push notification comes before the new word is actually released.

It does great giving you new words to add to your vocabulary and how to use them, but it can be irregular. I once went a whole month without a new word. Almost got rid of the app

Deleting because the choice of words is pointless for all but total beginners.

I just got my first word of the day. The app does "work" , but there are a few bugs that make it pretty annoying. The biggest issue is that it's spamming me with the "new word of the day" notification. I've gotten five in the last 5-10 minutes. Less annoying but still disappointing is audio and calender buttons lack functionality. Also I wish there was an option to see just the hiragana/katakana for a word. tldr, it kind of works but I'll probably delete it due to bugs.
