Samba Browser provides best experience of watching videos online. It's lightweight, fast and has clean optimized UI with all the best features:
- Auto detects audio/video as you browse web pages
- Open audio/video links with local apps, which is normally much better than the default web browser player
- Cast audio/videos to big screen through Chromecast/Chromecast Audio
- Download and watch them locally, with built-in download manager, support download pause, resume, multithreading download to increase download speed in several times and allow choosing download folder
- Blocks unwanted ads
- Private (incognito) browsing
Please note that download YouTube is not supported.
In this update we focus on improving the UI, we created new themes - light, dark and mixed themes. Light theme will be the default one, and if you miss the theme from previous versions, choose mixed theme. Beside that:
- We changed app name and icon
- Fixed bug when disconnecting Chromecast
- Fixed bug with swipe keyboard
- Fixed some compatibility issues with 4.x versions
