HomeSafe View: Live Swann DVR viewing on your Android phone
HomeSafe View supports the following features:
Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 cameras on screen at the same time (16ch view works best on tablets)
Play back stored recordings from your DVR on your handset or tablet (requires high upload speed internet)
Capture video from your camera live view to your Phone to play back later
Capture single and multi still images and save these to your Phone's picture library
Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely
Note: Current model handsets and tablets are recommended for high resolution playback and live viewing more than 8 cameras at once.

Other Swann DVR models will not work with this app.
Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi. When using 3G/4G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. If you exceed any plan limits you may incur additional usage charges. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.

  I have had this app with my 8 (4k) cameras iv been using the past 3 and a half years. No issues. The past week or two iv had so much trouble loading the cameras on my phone very frustrating when I want to view live streaming when I hear a noise or im out. Not good enough SWANN their products are not as good as they used to be.

  App won't show my cameras or connect to my nvr which is on the list of supported devices. Update: did a full reset on nvr and it works again, but its now using 36% of phone battery. Update 10/23/2020 now doesn't work at all again.

  I've been using this app for years and have really liked it. The last week or so it's been extremely slow loading and typically only loads a few of the cameras. I use this for my home and business and it's pretty frustrating not being able to check on every thing at either location.

  Temperamental at best, sometimes it loads up, sometimes you have to close it and try a few rimes, nearly half the screen taken up by tool bar options so the image is not as big as it could be, app resolution is quite poor, playback options are tricky to use

  Same as the users below. This app is constantly draining my battery since the last update. Im at the point that i have to delete the app. Not happy Cameras take forever to load. Wont load single camera view. App is totally pointless. You need to get this fixed asap. Has worked perfectly for 3 years and now this. Fustrating!!!!!!!!

  For god's sake get your act together and fix this app. Haven't you read all the reviews. It doesn't work when you want it to which is very frustrating. I'm gonna uninstall and reinstall AGAIN to see if this helps, but please sort this app out. I wouldn't mind but there isn't another app to use. Update: uninstall and reinstalled. Now it won't connect, what a load of shite 😡😡😡😡😡 Top tip for anyone thinking of getting swann security cameras. Don't waste your money because the app is useless.
