Nice try, but mostly English kings. Not much on art or philosophy or science or literature. Ireland and Scotland barely exist. France gets mentioned. But the episodes are interesting and fast moving, if you like the story of English royalty.

To many podcasts and you find a video upload to watch and its about 12 minutes long. I'm a keen history buff fascinated by the history of ordinary people of Victorian London, but to be honest there is very little on the topic. So in all honesty, this channel is not worth the money.

Great content, but the app isn't very user friendly.

History hit TV as a service is good. It is as advertised a "Netflix" for those who love history. It is not sensationalized for tv. The app itself has some problems and doesn't always work. Neither the service nor app save your place in a show. If it had "continue watching" and "my list" features as other streaming services have I would give it 5 stars. The content is good! Good enough that I can over look the app's problems and use a browser. It works on my Amazon TV, PC, and Phone.

Edit: Everything works after a restart. Even works on my no brand chinese tablet. Cheers! Old comment: Have not been able to test anything as the app stays on a black screen when opening on a Samsung S8 on the latest software version.
