Floot was developed with a focus on the current online dating culture with a twist. The twist is that you have to meet the person you match with which allows you to have a real connection with the individual as soon as you get on the app. The way it works is that you choose the location where you will be at a certain time window that you will be available to go on a date, and there is a backend algorithm that matches people with overlapping location and time. The algorithm then automatically selects a coffee shop or bar for the date and informs the two matched users. The users are expected to show up, and if they don’t their match rating decreases for the future and they might even get banned if they miss multiple dates.
