It randomly comes on when I'm not even driving or in a car! Drains my battery and slows down my internet/data. Update: Now the app doesn't work and is not tracking my trips. I got an email from esurance that I haven't driven for two weeks but I have. Esurance doesn't seem to want to fix this app. I think I might delete it and look for a new insurance provider.

Very poor app, requires too many permissions to data a driving monitor should not need. Location access should only be required when the app is being used not all the time. No reason for phone access it has no call function. Notifications have to be on to track trips, should be optional, otherwise it could prove distracting. A weak signal will result in inaccurate tracking, yet it requires storage access to save trips, that seems like a contradiction. Is a reason for changing auto-in provider

You get negative marks against you for night driving. I have a night shift job, so my car insurance goes up for driving to and from work. So don't get drive sense esurance if you have a night job. I was not told this when I signed up. Also the contact us option in the app does absolutely nothing so I am given no way to even bring this issue up. A majority of my trips are good but I only have a 4% discount. It's a scam

One of the things that have it 3 stars is that according to that app the only safe time to drive is when no one is driving. I mean, supposedly there's more traffic, but I would put the worst time at rush hour, not the whole day. And then best times are on the weekend from 5am to 11am, really? But I'm ok with the worst time at night from 11pm to 5am. And don't get me started in the connection issues, it's there with all the permissions but it's not recording anything.

Misjudges speed and braking all the time. Always crashing when I load it. But I get the insurance discount so I'm stuck with it.

Tries to monopoly the GPS radio and crashes Google maps. The speed tracking is not accurate, and it doesn't count every trip so you end up being tracked for no benefit.
