Description of Car Compass Overlay

Compass works on the devices with compass/magnetic field sensors and without such. It can use "GPS Mode" to determine the moving car direction.
In "Compass Mode" the shown azimuth is between North and the device pointing direction. Device can be used in both flat and upright position, both horizontal and vertical orientation.
In "GPS Mode" it requires your device to be moving. Shown azimuth then is between North and the direction of your movement.

Samsung S9+ w/ Android 10. I've tried a few others and this app actually works. Google Maps no longer has the compass feature for assisted map routes so this overlays nicely on top of it.

Overlay works now, thank you!! Really useful for driving to have the dot indicating the direction I am driving *in relation to an imagined map where north is up*, especially when using the overlay. The other user review does not seem to understand this function. A useful improvement would be being able to choose the size of the overlay, but it works the way it is now :-)

Simple. Elegant. Functional. Love it. Any way to make it bypass the settings screen when launched and immediately display the overlay? I would like to use this in a Tasker routine and require no input from me upon launch to show the overlay.
