Despite being one of the World's longest running beekeeping magazines we are keen to modernise and keep offering you, the readers, the best and most informed beekeeping news and information.
In 1919 Kent Beekeepers launched "Bee Craft" as a county beekeeping journal and by 1928 thirteen Associations had joined, keen to distribute news and information about their own beekeeping exploits. Today there are 49 Local Associations in the UK that have shareholdings in Beecraft Ltd and it has, in practice, been run as a non-profit making organisation for the benefit of the member associations.
Therefore we hope you enjoy this format of the magazine and continue to support Beecraft as it positions itself as the informed voice of British Beekeeping.
