  Moved to New house and bought a new smartphone, now had to throw this camera away, because apparently there is no reset, now can't get this Amcrest camera working because I don't remember the F@#$ password! Says ID already exists, so camera is worthless! Can't reprogram without having existing password! No more Amcrest!!!! Now going to garage to take hammer to the damn thing!

  I've used this app for three years with my Amcrest Network Video Recorder (NVR). I like to see what's happening at my house when I'm away from home. The app always connects to my cameras at home. I use Amcrest cameras that are directly wired to the NVR using Power over Ethernet (PoE). This is a very stable configuration and always works.

  I really regret buying these cameras! The app is very confusing. Half of the menu options aren't even mentioned in the instructions. I set up a schedule for recording and now I get alerts but no recording. Very frustrating!

  Great but have had intermittent issues with staying connected. Maybe my fault, but am learning more every time it happens.

  app stopped sending push notifications on android when there is motion detected. and it doesnt let me turn it on or off anymore 10/10/19 Now a year later with the recent update now it runs very very slow

  This app has so many bugs. To add a new camera it wouldn't let me chose the SSID for the wireless network. I'm on a Pixel 4 and the option was just greyed out. Two service calls and no help. I broke out my wife's old iPhone5s and was then able to add the SSID, setup the camera, then add it to my Android app via P2P. So the best way to set up a camera using this Android app is to get your 7 year old iPhone out and do it from there. Update:having even more problems with the latest Android11 update
