ASDP is designed for people with special communication needs, and its main objective is to contribute to a more inclusive society.
It uses Alternative Communication and other forms of Assistive Technology to pioneerly support and integrate this group of people with the outside world by reducing distance and including distance to the social environment. ASDP can benefit people with:
- Hard of hearing;
- Mental disability;
- Stroke;
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Limitation of physical mobility
- People without disabilities, such as older people who, due to age, require more specific care and attention.
ASDP provides features such as:
- Voice-to-text conversion (through the Google SPEECH API).
- Predefined categories available on communication boards.
- Expansion and, or customization of the application (through the creation of new boards or expansion of the existing ones)
